My poem :)

Broken alarm clock.

I have a broken clock.
It went tick tock.
It was very loud,
for it gave me shocks at seven o'clock.

My clock has a winnie the pooh inside it.

It is pink and can be lit.

It is dusty
because it quit at going tick.

My clock is now a souvenir.
It was given to me by uncle here -->
It meant good-bye,
For we were leaving for New Zealand that night.

Why Winnie the Pooh you say?
well my brother was born in may
then I came along,
and so to say pooh was here to stay.

Most Inspiring teacher

The most inspiring teacher for me would have to be Miss Cottee. She's probably one my best teachers this year because she is a very out going and fun person thats makes learning awesome for us. She challenges us in our learning, doing so in the most enjoyable ways.

Miss Cottee has an awesome personality that is probably the main factor to her being such a good teacher. She never fails to make us smile in class, even when its the end of the day and we just want to go home or we are just having a lame day. I always look forward to going to her class for I know that It'd be an enjoyable lesson where we actually learn heaps and because I know its gonna be fun and funny and cool etc...

She always tries to make learning different and cool for us so that its not boring. She helps us out when its needed, answering our questions, even when its not about the thing we are learning about specifically.

So yeah, that is why I think miss Cottee is the most inspiring teacher :)

Olympic Opinion

I think that more extreme/contemporary sports should be added to the Olympics, like surfing, because it is a popular summer sport. It’s a sport that both male and female can compete at and the things they can do are really impressive and entertaining. Personally I would love to see surfing at the Olympics. It looks like an awesome and fun summer sport. It looks like it could be an entertaining sport to watch on T.V.

It'd be fun to watch it since Surfing hasn't been part of the Olympics yet, probably because we would need technology like a high-quality wave pool for the surfers to have an equal and fair chance of winning. I read somewhere that it has been declined for the 2022 Olympics already, but I don't know if thats true. Hopefully in the near future we will see it at the Olympics and that technology has been developed a bit more. I know that I'd definitely be watching.

From what I've seen on the internet, I think that a lot of people would like to see surfing at the Olympics too and the competitive surfers out there would love to surf against other surfers from other countries as well. Its different having surfing at the Olympics along with heaps of other sports and people representing your country. Its a time where you can show the whole world your talent, represent your country and make them proud at the same time. Its a fun event that links the whole world together.

Surfing looks like a cool sport, I'd like to learn it but I'd suck at it... Hopefully it will become an Olympic sport. I know that I'd definitely be watching.

The greatest moment in the Olympic was when...

The greatest moment in the Olympic history was when...

When I asked my dad, what, in his opinion was the greatest moment in Olympic history he looked up to the ceiling, in his thinking mode and said "the greatest moment in the Olympic was when... Carl Lewis won 6 gold medals." I thought, well that's great but I still didn't understand why it was the greatest moment in history. So I replied saying " really? But how's that the greatest moment?" Then he said "Well no one has done that ever again, have they?"

But he was wrong. Really Carl Lewis has won 10 medals at the Olympics, 9 of which being gold medals, and 4 of those won for the 100m, 200m, 4×1000m relay and long jump at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics Games.
Carl Lewis has set world records in 100 m, 4×100 m and 4×200 m relays.
Some people even reckon that he is the greatest Olympian ever.

From what I've heard about Carl Lewis and the research that I've done I'd say that the greatest moment in Ancient history was when Carl Lewis won 4 gold medals at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and 10 medals in total from his time in the Olympic Games.

But the the greatest moment in Olympic history, so far, would be when Michael Phelps won 8 gold medals at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 in swimming. Michael Phelps nicknames as 'MP,The Baltimore Bullet, and/or Flying Fish' has won 14 gold olympic medals in total. Michael Phelps holds the record for the most gold medals won in a single Olympics. A lot of people would argue that Carl Lewis was indeed the greatest Olympian in history but based on the medals that each of them has won, Michael Phelps is the winner and probably one of the greatest Olympic swimmers yet.

Collaborative Story :)

This story carries on from Alexis click here to check the beginning.

I think they have me confused with the other me. Well this should be interesting...

... because on top of everything else I don't even have a license. This day should be marked as the worse day of my life, yet. The machine connected to the old man in the back is making a beeping sound. About half a dozen police cars are chasing me now. Oh man! I don't want to be arrested for the murder of that old man too. I am freaking out. What am I doing? Then something pops into my head, I remember what happened. It was her. My twin. I think that she may be evil, like the total opposite of me. Probably more organised too, and good at fooling people 'cause she fooled me. The gun must have injected some kind of poison or drug into me to forget what had happened.

It all happened at that marathon. I heard a gun shot, thinking that it was for the runners in the marathon, a sign for them to start runnning but then I realised that it was coming from behind me. As I search the crowd for something suspicous, the people around me start to scream and run in the opposite direction. I keep going forwards, towards the gun shot that I heard and I see her. She's holding a gun in her hand and she shoots again, aiming straight for the heart. Bad choice I thought. She sees me coming and quickly throws the gun at me. I'm stupid enough to catch it as she winks at me, I stare after her in horror. Bewildered and shocked, I throw the gun to the ground. From the corner of my eye I see cops running through the crowd. Ohh crap! I can't be arrested in this place, who will come to bail me out? Nobody, then I'll be stuck in Manurewa wonderland forever.

No. Not going to happen....

This story will be carried on by ameleigh => this is her blog :)
